PAS 91 Advanced CHAS accreditation for Wildscapes

Following an in depth assessment process, Wildscapes are pleased to have renewed our accreditation for a further year with the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), the UK’s leading provider of compliance and risk management solutions.

Wildscapes have been awarded CHAS Advanced accreditation which meets SSIP and PAS 91 standards, meaning we have demonstrated compliance across nine risk management areas, including health and safety, quality and diversity.  PAS 91 aims to raise the bar for supply chain standards, helping construction clients find suitably qualified contractors that have demonstrated compliance with supply chain risk management practices. The need for contractors to complete different PQQ’s under multiple prequalification schemes is no longer required and the streamlined system saves time and administrative costs for all parties involved in the tendering process.

As an organisation, we aim to conduct our activities in a way that ensures the health and well-being of our employees, contractors, clients and those otherwise affected by our work.   We are committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment, and to preventing accidents and cases of work–related ill health. We supply information, instruction, supervision and training to ensure our employees are competent in their work and can conform to our health and safety requirements.  Securing CHAS Advanced accreditation demonstrates  to our clients, prospective clients, partners, employees and the wider public that health and safety is at the forefront of all our operations.

Commenting on the recent renewal, Rob Seeley, Business Manager at Wildscapes said, ‘We’re very proud to have obtained this accreditation again.  As our business expands and our work becomes more diversified, it is vital that everyone involved in our projects can see our commitment to health and safety is more important than ever.  With SSIP accreditation alone no longer being sufficient for most government contracts, we’re keen to demonstrate our compliance above and beyond SSIP accreditation to all our clients including those within the public sector’.

Wildscapes holds a number of other accreditations and memberships, including the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM) Registered Practice status, highlighting our ongoing dedication to raising the profile of the profession, sharing  expertise and supporting others to do their bit for our natural world.
